Dirty Thirty

It’s a weird feeling turning 30 but only because for the most part I still feel like a little kid who’s afraid of everything you can possible think of from heights to swimming in the ocean you name it. Overall, I’m pretty thankful to have left my 20s behind to have reached the 30s club. I’m mostly thankful for my family, my friends (the little bit that I have), my daughter, my marriage, and my husband. I can honestly say I have the BEST husband in the entire universe. Yes, I said it, the entire UNIVERSE.  He’s always going out and beyond to make sure I’m happy and always putting my happiness first. Some might say I’m spoiled but I say he’s keeping his wife happy. You know what they, “happy wife happy life” right.

For my 30^th birthday husband decided to take me to a trip to Puerto Rico and may I say it was magical. For one,  being in Puerto Rico made it feel like I was back home in Haiti, where the smell of the ocean and the food brought back so many childhood memories. Our trip went from lunch on the beach (Condado Beach), hiking through the rain forest (The El Yunque National Forest), visited the El Morro and Paseo De La Princesa, and also saw some pretty AMAZING historic place (tourist life rocks). I went to the strip club for the first time EVER and even got my first lap time from a badass mamacita.

But the best part about the trip was walking in to our hotel room with rose petals on the bed, balloons every where, cake, wine, and gifts after a long day of hiking and walking. Mind you, my husband didn’t leave my sight for one minute the WHOLE trip but yet all that was done. How did he do? I have no idea but like he said I will find out one day. So mysterious and I love every bit and pieces of it.

And Another One

 Few weeks ago my girls and I had the pleasure of spending a great time with friends and guests. Many of us met for the first time, but the energy in the room made us all feel like sisters and comfortable. We all came together to celebrate women getting together and discussed some interesting topics.

Let's Do Brunch 04/29/17

We came together and came up with a great idea where us ladies can get together, get away from the norm life, have a couple of drinks, and of course some girls talk. What's a brunch without some girls talk.

All shyness was checked in at the door along with all shoes put our crazy socks and let the fun begin.

All topics are up for discussion. Sex, relationship advice, kids, friendship. When we said ALL we met ALL. nothing was off limit. We had a great time. Thanks to all the ladies that came and supported the movement. 💛

Brunch Turned Dinner 02/25/17

When you surround yourself with positive people that you can be yourself around without being judged, you find yourself meeting up for brunch at noon and 8hrs later we were ordering dinner. 6 round of drinks later personal stories were shared and at this point no f%$#'s were given. Significant others were calling but the convo must continue and stories must be heard. No topics were off limit and all ears were turned in to the tea. Sipping on our margaritas while dipping our French well toasted bread into the crab dips and sexual advice were being shared. When it was time to part ways, we all had to take a shot(yes 🥃 & 📸) as a reminder of how great of a day/night it had been.

Haitian's in the Dominican Republic

In recent news, a Haitian man was apparently lynch in the Dominican Republic. Police office ruled the death of a 19 year old man as racism which could add more tension between the two nations.
